Nancy Harryman, 85, of Keosauqua, Iowa passed away on January 8, 2019 at Keosauqua Health Care Center. She was born on July 23, 1933 to Robert and Virginia Thompson Reece. She graduated from Keosauqua High School. Nancy married Carl Harryman on March 10, 1951 in Fairfield, Iowa. Together Nancy and Carl lived many years in California where Carl was a truck driver and Nancy worked in property management. Carl preceded her in death on October 23, 1986. Nancy liked horses and she raised Appaloosa horses for many years. She was a hard worker and enjoyed gardening, working on the farm, fishing, sewing and crocheting afghans. Nancy loved to dance and would often attend dances at the Eagle's Club. She is survived by a son, Michael Harryman of Stockport, Iowa; a daughter, Pamela (Dennis, deceased) Adams of Farmington, Iowa; two grandsons, Adam and Robert Fox; her best friend, Ron Reif of Stockport; a brother, Thomas Reece of Missouri; and a sister, Mary Lou Gentry of Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl; and siblings, Kenny Reece and Pat Roland. Per Nancy's wishes her body has been cremated and no services are planned.
