Anderson has dedicated countless hours to district

To the editor:

I am writing to endorse the candidacy of Jennifer Anderson to continue serving as a director for the Fairfield Community School District. I had the pleasure of serving with Jennifer as a member of the board in the 1990s when she served for six years. In 1999, Jennifer did not seek re-election to the board, however, she did run for school board again in 2009 and has continued to serve since then.

Jennifer is a very effective board member, leader and listener. And Jennifer is a person who puts the best interests of the students at the top of her priority list. Jennifer has dedicated countless hours to the school district and our community in an effort to make the Fairfield Community School District as good as it can be. When faced with difficult, emotional issues, Jennifer has the ability to analyze the issues and determine what is best for our students.

Jennifer also brings to the board a wide range of experience as she is a graduate of the Fairfield Community School District, owns and operates a farming operation with her husband, Nelson, is an independent business owner and consultant and is the mother of two children who are graduates of the Fairfield Community School District.

I would urge you to vote for Jennifer Anderson in the school board election to be held Sept. 12.
