KEOSAUQUA ? Van Buren County will host a community blood drive from 3:45-7 p.m. Wednesday at the Keosauqua Senior Center.
Donors who last gave blood on or before Aug. 30 are eligible to give at this drive.
For appointments to donate, contact the Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center at 800- 452-1097 or visit www.bloodcenterimpact.org and use code 5084 to locate the drive.
Potential donors must be at least 17 years of age, although a 16-year-old with a parental permission form can donate; forms are available through www.bloodcenter.org. Donors must weigh more than 110 pounds. A photo I.D. is required to donate. Individuals with diabetes or controlled high blood pressure can be accepted as eligible donors.
