Brighton Easter egg hunt postponed

BRIGHTON ? Brighton Chamber?s annual community Easter egg hunt is now set for 4 p.m. Saturday at the Brighton Ball Field.

The free event will include several age groups, candy and prizes for all.

The egg hunt had originally been planned for the morning of March 31, but was postponed because of possible bad weather.

Easter egg hunts planned in Van Buren

Several Easter egg hunts are planned in Van Buren County.

The Keosauqua Lions Club will sponsor an Easter egg hunt at 9 a.m. Saturday at the first shelter house in Lacey-Keosauqua State Park.

Milton?s Easter egg hunt is set for 10 a.m. Saturday in Milton City Park. The event will be divided into four age groups for children up to age 12.

The Stockport Legacy Group will host an Easter egg hunt for children in third-grade and younger at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Saddle Club Park in Stockport

Birmingham will host an Easter egg hunt at 1 p.m. Saturday in Birmingham City Park.

Cantril?s Easter egg hunt begins at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Waubonsie Park. The event is for children 1-12 years old. Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny will be there.

Birmingham holding photo contest

BIRMINGHAM ? Birmingham Homecoming Committee is holding a photo contest to find a photo for its 2018 Homecoming button.

The committee is looking for a photo of a farmstead with a Birmingham address.

Milton Lions hosting supper

MILTON ? The Miltons Lions Club will have a chili and grilled-cheese supper from 5-7 p.m. Saturday at the American Legion Building in Milton.

In addition to chili and a grilled-cheese sandwich, meal also will include dessert.

A freewill donation will be collected for the supper.
