The Trojan boys golf team is feeling slightly frustrated after finishing fourth place in the Southeast Conference meet at Keokuk Tuesday, but with good reason.
?We shot our best 18 holes of the year,? said Head Coach Mick Flattery. ?So, we are disappointed in only getting fourth, but congrats to the teams above us for shooting really well. We can?t be mad about shooting our season best,? concluded the Trojan coach.

Jackson Weaton had his best round of the season with a six-par, two-birdie 80.
Josh Brewington followed with a three-par 88 while Aaron Haines had five pars and a birdie during his 89.
Four-five-six went to Brad Smithburg, Jeremy Crile and Drake Rippey in no particular order as the trio all shot 98.
Smithburg had three pars, Crile also had three pars and shot a 45 on the back nine while Rippey shot a 44 over the second nine holes.
In fact, five of the six Trojans shot in the 40s on the 10-18 holes, which was a season-best as well.
Next, the Trojans will play at Flint Hills in Burlington Thursday for their Sectional meet with Mt. Pleasant, Keokuk, Fort Madison, Chariton, Centerville, Oskaloosa and Burlington-Notre Dame.
