The Fairfield Eagles Aerie 1927 is having its State Charity celebration Friday evening at the club.
The event includes a steak and chop feed from 5-7 p.m., a bake sale, new item auction and karaoke beginning at 7 p.m.
The proceeds will be donated to ChildServe.
Each year, the Fraternal Order of the Eagles State Presidents choose a charity for all the Eagles clubs to raise money for. This year, ChildServe was chosen.
ChildServe provides specialized clinical, home- and community-based services to children, newborn through age 21. This continuum of care includes rehabilitation and developmental therapy services such as physical and occupational therapy, speech therapy, language pathology, orthotics, behavioral health, autism, long-term care, respite, supported community living, specialty clinics, home care, day habilitation, day health, brain injury rehabilitation and child care. ChildServe has locations in Des Moines, Johnston, Ames, Iowa City and North Liberty.
The Ottumwa Eagles Aerie 114 will have its State Charity celebration beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday.
