Fire Report

The Fairfield Fire Department reports the following:


 


Friday


12:02 p.m. ? The department was called to an accident in the 2400 block of Glasgow Road.


1:26 p.m. ? The department extinguished a grass fire at 270th and Osage in the 2700 block of Turkey Run. Two acres were burned.


1:26 p.m. ? The department extinguished a grass fire at 2054 Kiowa Lane. Five acres were burned.


3:53 p.m. ? The department was called to an accident at the 210 Exit of Highway 34. Their response was called off by deputies.


9:20 p.m. ? The department assisted EMS in the 300 block of West Polk.


 


Saturday


4:13 a.m. ? The department investigated an automatic alarm at Wagon Wheel Apartments.


12:16 p.m. ? The department extinguished a grass fire at 2150 145th. The fire began as a controlled burn, but with the wind, it became out of control. Sixty acres were burned. Packwood and Richland fire departments were called for mutual aid.


 


Sunday


7:14 a.m. ? The department investigated an automatic fire alarm at Wagon Wheel Apartments. The panel showed ?pull station,? but none were pulled.


 


Monday


7 a.m. ? The department investigated an alarm at Wagon Wheel Apartments. The alarm was reset.


12:12 p.m. ? An automatic alarm sounded at 2020 North B. The response was canceled while en route.


4:28 p.m. ? The department extinguished a grass fire at 2350 Pine Ave. Two acres were burned.
