Free elder law webinar series begins April 5

As a public service to area seniors and family caregivers, Milestones Area Agency on Aging will host the viewing of free elder law webinars presented by Iowa Legal Aid?s Legal Hotline for Older Iowans.

The sessions will be viewed at the Milestones? office in Ottumwa on five Thursdays this spring. The webinars will start promptly at 11 a.m. and will end at noon. Plan on arriving early, allowing time to park and get settled. Seating is limited. Registration is required by calling 641-684-1006 or 641-684-1016

?We are happy to host the viewing of these elder law webinars. We know there are seniors who do not have internet access making accessibility to this information challenging,? said Michelle Hackley, Milestones elder/adult rights specialist. ?Understanding these issues and legal solutions will benefit seniors and their families as they plan for future needs.?
