Fairfield Public Library will show a free film Friday.
The film is a 2017 American biographical drama based on Jeannette Walls?s 2005 best-selling memoir of the same name. Depicting Walls?s real-life childhood as a young girl who comes of age in a dysfunctional family of nonconformist nomads with a mother who is an eccentric artist and an alcoholic father who would stir the children?s imagination with hope as a distraction to their poverty.
The movie is rated PG13. It runs for two hours and seven minutes.
Doors open at 7 p.m. The movie starts at 7:30 p.m. Seating is limited.
Donations for the film and organic popcorn help the library renew its movie licenses.
