Fairfield Public Library?s free film for April will be presented Friday evening.
The film is a 2017 war drama depicting Winston Churchill?s early days as prime minister, as Nazi Germany swept across Western Europe, threatening to defeat the United Kingdom during World War II. It leads to friction at the highest levels of government between those who would make a peace treaty with Hitler and Churchill, who refused.
The film is rated PG13. The film length is two hours and five minutes.
Doors open at 7 p.m. and the film begins at 7:30 p.m. Seating is limited.
As always, donations for the free film and organic popcorn help the library to renew its movie licenses.
