Free Storm Spotter training set Feb. 26

A free Storm Spotter Training class will be offered at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 26 at the Fairfield Elks Lodge.


Jefferson County Emergency Management is hosting the class. The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities will be providing the instruction.


The class is open to the public and takes about two hours to complete.


Weather enthusiasts, firefighters, emergency first responders, ham radio operators, and those interested in providing a valuable service to their community are encouraged to attend.
