Andrew Bargerstock will teach a series of workshops titled ?Understanding Financial Statements? at 7 p.m. on four consecutive Tuesdays: Jan. 2, 9, 16, and 23 at the Fairfield Public Library.
Funding for the workshops is part of a yearlong grant that the Maharishi University of Management College of Business received from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Bargerstock?s ability to make accounting understandable and clear is legendary among his students. Bargerstock is chair of the Accounting Department and director of MBA Programs at M.U.M. He has been a Fortune 500 subsidiary executive, a national consultant in accounting and human resource management, an entrepreneur, and a CPA firm auditor.
In recent years, Bargerstock has received national and global awards for peer-reviewed articles in management accounting, lean accounting and business ethics. In both 2009 and 2016, he was awarded the Lean Enterprise Institute?s Excellence in Lean Accounting Professor of the Year. He teaches online webinars in investing for Rule #1 investing and assists regularly in live investment seminars in Atlanta with Phil Town.
