Cambridge congratulates Seth Miller, senior vice president of Risk Management and general counsel at Cambridge, and Desmond Henry, a fee only advisor of Afflora Financial Life Planning, on being recognized by Investment News magazine as 2018 40 Under 40 honorees.
This annual award honors professionals in the financial advice industry for their accomplishments, contribution to the industry, leadership, and promise.
Miller joined Cambridge in 2008 and his primary focus has been on managing risk in an increasingly regulated environment. He manages all internal and external legal affairs for Cambridge along with overseeing the independent broker-dealer?s enterprise approach to risk management. Miller earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and management from Iowa State University and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Iowa College of Law. He holds the FINRA Series 7, 24, and 66 licenses and is licensed to practice law before the Iowa and Missouri state bars.
Henry serves as founder and financial planner at Afflora Financial Life Planning. His office is located in Topeka, Kansas, where he has been recognized for his ongoing support of local charities and for his involvement in teaching financial literacy to high school and college students. Henry earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from Washburn University and a Graduate Certificate in Personal Financial Planning from Kansas State University. Additionally, he is a Certified Financial Planner professional and holds the FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 licenses.
