6:20 a.m. ? An officer saw suspicious activity in the 1200 block of West Jackson.


7:11 a.m. ? A verbal warning for failure to display registration was issued at Brookville and Grimes.


7:34 a.m. ? Patricia Anne Hancock, 63, of Fairfield, was cited for excessive speed at Brookville/Grimes.


7:45 a.m. ? A road closing on East Hempstead, between C and D streets, was reported.


8 a.m. ? An alarm sounded at a business in the 100 block of East Burlington.


8:13 a.m. ? A verbal warning for failure to display registration and failure to provide financial liability was issued in the 1100 block of West Burlington.


9:50 a.m. -- A verbal warning for a traffic violation was issued in the 2700 block of West Burlington.


9:55 a.m.. ? Cody Colleen Kite-Warth, 41, of Bonaparte, was cited for excessive speed (45 mph in a 35 mph zone) at Burlington and Cromwell.


10:02 a.m. ? A verbal warning for a traffic violation was issued in the 2800 block of West Burlington.


10:04 a.m. ? A road closing on Grimes, between Sixth and Eighth, was reported.


10:20 a.m. ? A verbal warning for failure to display registration was issued in the 1500 block of West Burlington.


11:56 a.m. ? Suspicious activity was reported at Sixth and Depot.


12:35 p.m. ? A road closing on Grimes, between Ninth and 10th, was reported.


1 p.m. ? Police were investigating drugs-narcotic violations and weapon law violations.


1:10 p.m. ? A verbal warning for failure to display registration was issued in the 2100 block of West Burlington.


1:31 p.m. ? A verbal warning was issued for failure to maintain control at Burlington and Glasgow.


2 p.m. ? A verbal warning for a plate cover was issued at Burlington and B.


2:01 p.m. ? David Roy White, 35, of Fairfield, was cited for failure to display registration plate and failure to prove security against liability (accident related) in the 900 block of West Harrison.


3:31 p.m. ? A verbal warning for a traffic violation was issued in the 400 block of West Washington.


4:21 p.m. ? A verbal warning for a traffic violation was issued in the 1600 block of West Stone.


4:25 p.m. ? Extra patrol was requested in the 300 block of West Washington.


4:41 p.m. ? Wesley Allen Whitlock, 51, of Fairfield, was cited for driving while suspended, revoked, canceled or denied at Harrison and Fourth.


5:09 p.m. ? Brian Edward Jennings, 24, of Fairfield, was cited for driving while suspended.


7:05 p.m. ? A verbal warning was issued for a passenger-side taillight outage at 16th and Grimes.


7:20 p.m. ? A verbal warning was issued for failure to obey a stop light on the south side of the Fairfield square.


7:25 p.m. ? Suspicious activity was reported in the 3100 block of West Burlington.


7:53 p.m. ? A verbal warning was issued for failure to obey a stop light at Kirkwood and Third.


7:55 p.m. ? A verbal warning was issued for no passenger-side headlight in the 200 block of West Broadway.


8:07 p.m. ? A vehicle was stopped at Sixth and Van Buren for an improper passenger-side taillight, a burned out passenger side taillight and no third brake light. Todd Allan Gaskell, 52, of Keosauqua, was cited for operating a non-registered vehicle, failure to prove security against liability (non-accident related) and fraudulent use of registration. Verbal warnings were issued for the taillight problems.


9:01 p.m. ? A verbal warning was issued for no driver-side headlight at Washington and Sixth.


9:52 p.m. ? A verbal warning was issued for a passenger-side break light outage at Briggs and B.


10:10 p.m. ? Suspicious activity was reported in the 1000 block of South Sixth.


12:25 a.m. ? A barking dog was reported in the 600 block of West Jackson. An officer checked the area, but did not hear any barking.


12:44 a.m. ? A verbal warning was issued for a traffic violation in the 3000 block of West Burlington.


1:19 a.m. ? Police assisted with a fire call in the 100 block of North Main.


1:58 a.m. ? Offenses against family were reported in the 800 block of West Kirkwood.
