Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:
1:13 p.m. ? A verbal warning for a brake light was issued at Third and Kirkwood.
2:49 p.m. ? A municipal infraction citation for speeding 50 mph in a 35 mph zone was issued at 32nd and Burlington.
3:37 p.m. ? Stolen property was recovered.
3:53 p.m. ? A municipal infraction citation for failure to obey a stop sign at Fourth and Kirkwood was issued at Fourth and Briggs.
4:30 p.m. ? Michael Paul Bibby, 32, of Ottumwa, was cited for driving while suspended, revoked, canceled or denied.
5:02 p.m. ? Police investigated theft in the 2700 block of West Burlington. At 5:26 p.m., Courtney Buchanan Reid, 25, of Fairfield, was arrested and charged with fifth-degree theft.
5:39 p.m. ? Larceny theft was reported in the 800 block of West Tyler.
5:57 p.m. ? Police were asked to checked on a driver who was slouched over his steering wheel in a parking lot in the 2700 block of West Burlington. Police checked the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.
6:58 p.m. ? A verbal warning for speeding 37 mph in a 25 mph zone was issued at Ninth and Jefferson.
7:01 p.m. ? A parking concern at the Little League fields was reported.
7:16 p.m. ? A civil dispute was reported in the 600 block of East Adams.
7:17 p.m. ? A verbal warning for passing on the right at Main and Burlington was issued in the 50 block of North Main.
8:01 p.m. ? A juvenile was charged with trespassing in the 2700 block of West Burlington. The juvenile was asked to leave the property after she drove a motorized scooter into displays. The juvenile left, but then returned and was driving the scooter into displays again.
11:15 p.m. ? Police assisted the ambulance in the 200 block of South Court.
Midnight ? A municipal infraction citation for speeding 40 mph in a 25 mph zone was issued in the 800 block of West Burlington. The vehicle had been ?locked in? at 50 mph in a 25 mph zone in the 400 block of West Burlington.
12:05 a.m. ? A vehicle was stopped for showing white to the rear at 32nd and Burlington. The plates did not match the vehicle. The vehicle had just been bought and the Department of Transportation was in the process of getting the registration switched. All the information the driver had from the car dealership was correct. A verbal warning was issued for the lights.
12:19 a.m. ? A verbal warning for speeding 35 mph in a 25 mph zone in the 400 block of West Burlington was issued at 12th and Burlington.
12:29 a.m. ? A verbal warning for speeding 35 mph in a 25 mph zone in the 400 block of West Burlington was issued at B and Burlington.
12:38 a.m. ? Subjects were advised of the park hours at Lamson Woods.
12:59 a.m. ? A verbal warning for failure to obey a stop sign was issued on Burlington near Forest Drive.
2:04 a.m. ? Subjects were advised of the hours at Waterworks Park.
9:20 a.m. ? Police assisted the sheriff?s office at Fourth and Old Highway 34 in Batavia.
9:23 a.m. ? A malfunctioning traffic light was reported at Main and Madison. It was working when police arrived.
10:19 a.m. ? Shoplifting was reported in the 1300 block of West Burlington.
