The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:


 


Tuesday


6:30 p.m. ? A traffic accident was reported at Fourth and Adams.


6:44 p.m. ? Police assisted the sheriff?s office at Highway 34, Exit 214.


7:31 p.m. ? A verbal warning was issued at Seventh and Washington for no passenger-side brake light.


7:59 p.m. ? A suspicious male was reported in the 2000 block of North B.


8:33 p.m. ? Police investigated a theft in the 1300 block of West Burlington.


10 p.m. ? A wallet with contents and cigarettes was found at Jefferson and Seventh.


10:03 p.m. ? A verbal warning was issued at Ninth and Hempstead for a broken taillight.


10:21 p.m. ? Austin Johnston, 20, of Fairfield was arrested in the 900 block of South Sixth on a warrant for fifth-degree theft and a warrant for failure to appear.


11:32 p.m. ? Police checked the Pence Elementary School building.


 


Wednesday


12:12 a.m. ? Police checked the Fairfield Middle School building.


12:24 a.m. ? Police checked on a motorist at Hempstead and Ninth.


5:38 a.m. ? A verbal warning was issued in the 700 block of West Burlington for failure to stop at a flashing red light.


6:55 a.m. ? A disturbance was reported in the 1300 block of Libertyville Drive.


7:22 a.m. ? A verbal warning was issued at Ninth and Broadway for expired registration.


9:25 a.m. ? A municipal infraction citation was issued at Fifth and Broadway for expired registration.


9:28 a.m. ? Forgery/counterfeit was reported in the 600 block of East Fillmore. The caller believed her signature had been forged on online documents. The department she was dealing with was based out of Detroit, Michigan. She was advised the Fairfield Police Department has no authority over the matter.


9:42 a.m. ? A verbal warning was issued at Sixth and Briggs for no proof of insurance and a cracked window. The vehicle was stopped for no plate on the rear and the front plate not matching the vehicle description. The driver had the title.


9:58 a.m. ? A missing animal was reported.


11:51 a.m. ? Vandalism was reported in the 600 block of East Broadway. A peanut butter and jelly sandwich was thrown at a vehicle in the parking lot.


12:11 p.m. ? A parking concern was reported in the 600 block of South Fifth. Police asked the subject about moving a trailer to the other side of the street.


2:09 p.m. ? A hit-and-run accident was reported in the 300 block of East Hempstead.


2:20 p.m. ? Harassment was reported in the 600 block of South Fourth.


4:18 p.m. ? A municipal infractions citation was issued at Sixth and Fillmore for expired registration.


5:14 p.m. ? A violation of a no-contact order was reported in the 200 block of East Briggs.


5:59 p.m. ? A traffic accident was reported at Court and Kirkwood.


7:12 p.m. ? Police assisted a motorist with an object in the road in the 300 block of East Burlington.


7:33 p.m. ? A verbal warning was issued at Seventh and Sunny Lane for a traffic violation.


8:40 p.m. ? A parking concern was reported in the 3300 block of West Van Buren.


8:57 p.m. ? Suspicious activity was reported in the 200 block of East Pierce.


9:39 p.m. ? Harassment was reported in the 1100 block of South Fifth Street.


10:54 p.m. ? Extra patrol was requested in the 1000 block of South Seventh.


11:51 p.m. ? Police advised subjects of the park hours at Chautauqua Park.


11:56 p.m. ? Harassment was reported in the 200 block of East Broadway.
