Wednesday


11:29 a.m. ? Stolen property was reported as recovered in the 800 block of South Ninth.


1:56 p.m. ? A verbal warning for a traffic violation was issued in the 200 block of South 20th.


2:16 p.m. ? A verbal warning for a traffic violation was issued at Sixth and Jefferson.


2:47 p.m. ? Harassment was reported in the 300 block of East Burlington.


2:51 p.m. ? Harassment was reported in the 50 block of South 12th.


4:10 p.m. ? A verbal warning for a traffic violation was issued at Whitham Woods.


4:17 p.m. ? A verbal warning for a traffic violation was issued at Whitham Woods.


4:22 p.m. ? Police assisted a motorist at 32nd and Burlington.


4:57 p.m. ? Trespassing was reported in the 800 block of North 10th.


5:33 p.m. ? Larceny theft was reported in the 50 block of South Eighth. The issue was resolved before the officer returning a phone call.


5:42 p.m. ? A domestic disturbance was reported in the 100 block of North D. Two females could be heard fighting on the open 911 line, but no one directly spoke to the dispatcher.


7:16 p.m. ? Tree branches were removed from the middle of the roadway near Chautauqua Park.


8:05 p.m. ? Police assisted the ambulance in the 100 block of West Broadway.


9:40 p.m. ? Extra patrol was requested in the 200 block of East Burlington.


9:45 p.m. ? Police assisted a motorist in the 100 block of East Buchanan.


10:08 p.m. ? A verbal warning for no passenger-side headlight was issued at Burlington and 20th.


10:21 p.m. ? Police checked the Whitney Monument Works building. The building was secure.


10:46 p.m. ? Police assisted the ambulance in the 600 block of West Monroe.


11:12 p.m. ? A vehicle was stopped in the 1300 block of South Main because the registered owner was suspended and the license plate light was out. The driver was not the registered owner. A K-9 search was performed.


11:43 p.m. ? A verbal warning was issued for no passenger-side headlight in the 2700 block of West Burlington.


 


Thursday


1:49 a.m. ? Police investigated offenses in the 1300 block of West Jackson. At 2:08 a.m., Roger Del Maciais-Kaharik, 26, of Ottumwa, was arrested and charged with driving under suspension; interference with official acts; possession of methamphetamine, third offense; three counts of possession of Schedule IV controlled substance, third offense; possession of marijuana, third offense; failure to affix drug-tax stamp; and possession of drug paraphernalia.


7:24 a.m. ? A verbal warning for speeding was issued at Main and Kirkwood.


7:38 a.m. ? A verbal warning for a traffic violation was issued in the 400 block of West Burlington.


7:50 a.m. ? A verbal warning for a traffic violation was issued in the 200 block of West Briggs.


8:18 a.m. ? Police assisted a motorist at 32nd and Madison.


8:32 a.m. ? Nancy Jean Musgrave, 68, of Fairfield, was cited for operation without registration at Second and Hempstead.


10:41 a.m. ? A civil dispute was reported in the 500 block of East Fillmore.


11:28 a.m. ? An officer performed warrant service in the 100 block of North Main.


11:46 a.m. ? Traffic violations were reported in the 1300 block of West Burlington.


1:04 p.m. ? Police investigated burglary/breaking and entering at a storage unit.


2:26 p.m. ? Burglary was reported in the 800 block of North B. The building was cleared.


3:05 p.m. ? A domestic disturbance was reported in the 100 block of North Main.


3:24 p.m. ? A verbal warning for passing in a no-passing lane was issued in the 300 block of West Burlington.


4:08 p.m. ? A verbal warning for a traffic violation was issued at Main and Libertyville.


4:47 p.m. ? An officer was called to keep the peace in the 200 block of North Main.


5:40 p.m. ? Police assisted the Iowa State Patrol on Highway 34, mile marker 210.


5:48 p.m. ? Police investigated interference with official acts and theft in the 2700 block of West Burlington. At 5:58 p.m., Devin Schofield, 24, of Mt. Pleasant, was arrested and charged with fifth-degree theft and interference with official acts.


8:32 p.m. ? Flooding was reported at D and Burlington.


9:31 p.m. ? Police assisted the ambulance in the 400 block of South Court.


9:54 p.m. ? Loud music was reported in the 900 block of South Sixth.


10:19 p.m. ? A parking concern was reported in the 500 block of North Second.


10:54 p.m. ? Police checked Waterworks Park after park hours.


10:59 p.m. ? A caller in the 400 block of West Hempstead reported hearing six gunshots, but did not know where it came from. Someone was setting off fireworks three or four blocks west of his location.


11:03 p.m. ? Loud noise ? a domestic disturbance ? was reported in the 300 block of East Pierce.


11:24 p.m. ? Police checked Whitham Woods after park hours.
