The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:
9:19 a.m. ? A welfare check was requested on a man in a parking lot in the 2400 block of West Burlington. Police found the man sitting in his car using a computer. The man was with the assessor?s office.
9:30 a.m. ? Disorderly conduct was reported at the corner of Burlington and D. According to the Dispatch log, it appeared two subjects had just had an altercation, but neither wanted to talk and advised they would be able to get back to work without any further incidents.
10:02 a.m. ? A verbal warning for a registration violation was issued at Grimes and 23rd.
10:10 a.m. ? A parking complaint was reported at Second and Kirkwood. The vehicle was towed.
10:36 a.m. ? A parking complaint was reported in the 100 block of North Fifth. The vehicle was towed.
2:24 p.m. ? A dangerous driver was reported northbound at Highway 1 and Highway 34.
3:09 p.m. ? Police investigated theft in the 1300 block of West Jackson.
3:39 p.m. ? Police assisted the sheriff?s office and the ambulance service in the 2300 block of Kale.
6:27 p.m. ? Suspicious activity was reported in the 300 block of South Maple.
6:31 p.m. ? Fraud was reported in the 400 block of South Fourth. Two people used a credit card without the card owner?s permission.
7:07 p.m. ? Police were called to keep the peace in the 50 block of South Eighth.
7:20 p.m. ? Police assisted the sheriff?s office in the 500 block of West Madison.
9:26 p.m. ? Disturbing the peace was reported in the 1000 block of South Third.
9:50 p.m. ? An animal concern was reported in the 200 block of East Buchanan.
11:07 p.m. ? Disturbing the peace was reported at Main and Fillmore.
12:14 a.m. ? A verbal warning for a driver-side headlight outage was issued in the 500 block of West Burlington.
2:29 a.m. ? Disturbing the peace ? a loud noise ? was reported in the 400 block of West Depot.
3:06 a.m. ? A domestic disturbance was reported at Fourth and Hempstead.
