The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:
8:50 a.m. ? Burglary was reported in the 800 block of West Depot.
10:14 a.m. ? A hazardous road condition was reported in the 900 block of North B. The caller said because of construction in the area, the road is down to one lane, but drivers can?t see around a large dump truck.
10:48 a.m. ? A verbal warning was issued in the 3000 block of West Burlington for a driver-side brake light.
12:26 p.m. ? Police assisted the ambulance in the 50 block of North Court.
1:01 p.m. ? Disturbing the peace was reported in the 400 block of West Madison. A dog was barking.
1:30 p.m. ? A verbal warning was issued at Court and Madison for no third brake light.
1:54 p.m. ? A verbal warning was issued in the 200 block of South Fourth for a driver-side brake outage.
2:36 p.m. ? Fraud was reported in the 200 block of South Court. A person?s Facebook account was hacked by someone posing as their friend. The hacker provided information to fill out a grant request stating if the person gave $1,000, he would receive $100,000; if the person gave $3,000, he would get $300,000; and so on.
2:54 p.m. ? Destruction/damage/vandalism of property was reported in the 2000 block of West Burlington. Sometime between July 10 and Tuesday, someone cut the air lines to a trailer parked behind the store.
5 p.m. ? Police investigated theft from motor vehicle in the 600 block of South Main. The caller stated he gave a subject a ride from the Maharishi Vedic City area to the domes on the Maharishi University of Management campus. The caller said when he returned home, he realized his iPhone X was missing. He did not know the subject he gave the ride to.
9:15 p.m. ? A civil issue was reported in the 800 block of North Fourth.
10:21 p.m. ? Harassment was reported in the 100 block of North Morgan.
1:28 a.m. ? Suspicious activity was reported in the 200 block of Highland.
1:36 a.m. ? Police assisted with adult probation.
