Friday


12:23 a.m. ? Police investigated offenses at D and Adam.


3:25 a.m. ? A verbal warning was issued at Main and Burlington for no license plate.


3:40 a.m. ? A verbal warning was issued at Third and Burlington for failure to signal and third brake light out.


7:49 a.m. ? Police assisted the ambulance in the 1800 block of Kelp.


9 a.m. ? A verbal warning was issued in the 1000 block of Liberty Drive for no registration.


9:02 a.m. ? A verbal warning was issued at B and Lowe for no driver-side brake light.


9:23 a.m. ? A trespass warning was issued in the 700 block of West Burlington.


10:11 a.m. ? Extra patrol was requested in the 1300 block of West Stone.


3:55 p.m. ? Police attempted to serve a trespass warning in the 300 block of East Burlington.


6:07 p.m. ? A hit-and-run traffic accident was reported at Fourth and Briggs.


6:25 p.m. ? A fire call in the 600 block of East Broadway was received.


8:32 p.m. ? Timothy Paul Hibbets, 31, of Fairfield, was cited at Fifth and Adams for driving while suspended, revoked, canceled or denied.


8:56 p.m. ? Mingming Zhao, 32, of Fairfield, was cited for failure to prove security against liability (non-accident related).


9:47 p.m. ? Extra patrol was requested in the 500 block of North Main.


11:26 p.m. ? A municipal infractions citation was issued at C and Burlington for speeding 10 mph or more over the posted speed limit.


11:45 p.m. ? A verbal warning was issued at Fourth and Madison for a driver-side brake light outage.


 


Saturday


Midnight ? Suspicious activity was reported in the 200 block of East Buchanan.


12:20 a.m. ? Loud music was reported in the 500 block of North B.


2:01 a.m. ? A person sleeping in a vehicle was reported in the 1300 block of West Stone.


6:50 a.m. ? Disturbing the peace was reported in the 400 block of South Third.


8:25 a.m. ? A civil dispute was reported in the 900 block of Walton Road.


9:50 a.m. ? A hit-and-run traffic accident was reported in the 500 block of North Second. The hit-and-run happened the morning of Aug. 18 in the Everybody?s Whole Foods parking lot and involved a white Lexus. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Fairfield Police Department.


10:50 a.m. ? Larceny theft was reported in the 500 block of West Adams. The resident saw a male attempting to take her scooter parked outside her residence. She found a laptop in the front basket of the scooter.


11:48 a.m. ? A license plate was recovered in the 50 block of West Broadway.


12:16 p.m. ? A business alarm sounded in the 600 block of West Burlington.


1:51 p.m. ? A suspicious person was reported in the 2000 block of West Burlington.


3:11 p.m. ? A municipal infractions citation was issued at B and Burlington for failure to obey a steady red light.


6:57 p.m. ? A verbal warning was issued in the 500 block of North Fourth for obstructed view.


6:59 p.m. ? Howard Phagan, 18, of North Liberty, was arrested at 10th and Burlington on a warrant for failure to appear.


7:27 p.m. ? A verbal warning was issued in the 500 block of East Burlington for a driver-side brake light outage.


7:50 p.m. ? A municipal infractions citation was issued at Fifth and Burlington for expired registration. A verbal warning was issued for no proof of insurance.


8:12 p.m. ? An animal concern was reported in the 100 block of South 17th.


9:32 p.m. ? Loud music was reported in Chautauqua Park.


9:47 p.m. ? A verbal warning was issued at 12th and Jefferson for plate light and passenger-side headlight outages.


10:04 p.m. ? A verbal warning was issued at Sixth and Washington.


10:53 p.m. ? A verbal warning was issued at Seventh and Sunny for a U-turn and a plate light.


11:14 p.m. ? A verbal warning was issued at Second and Hempstead for a broken headlight.


11:50 p.m. ? Police checked Waterworks Park after park hours.

12:01 a.m. -- A subject was fishing at Reservoir No. 2. Police advised the angler of park hours.


12:14 a.m. -- Police checked Fairfield Little League after park hours.


12:39 a.m. -- A verbal warning was issued in the 600 block of West Burlington for a passenger-side tail light outage.


6:14 a.m. -- Police investigated criminal mischief reported in the 600 block of West Monroe.


6:32 a.m. -- Trespassing was reported in the 3000 block of West Burlington.


1:52 p.m. -- A dangerous driver was reported in the 2100 block of West Burlington.


2:36 p.m. -- A verbal warning was issued in the 400 block of Wet Burlington for passing on the right and expired registration.


3:43 p.m. -- An animal concern was reported in the 800 block of West Broadway.


3:51 p.m. -- Police investigated offenses in the 500 block of East Burlington.


7:01 p.m. -- A civil dispute was reported in the 2800 block of West Grimes.


8:07 p.m. -- Public fighting was reported in the 500 block of West Depot.


9:10 p.m. -- A fire was reported in the 100 block of North Fourth. No fire was located.


9:19 p.m. -- Harassment was reported in the 1300 block of West Burlington.


9:22 p.m. -- Suspicious activity was reported in the 300 block of South 14th.


10:40 p.m. -- A verbal warning was issued at Ninth and Broadway for a headlight outage.


11:35 p.m. -- A verbal warning was issued at Fourth and Broadway for a plate light outage.


11:41 p.m. -- A verbal warning was issued at Burlington and Sixth for a headlight outage.
