6:43 a.m. ? A civil dispute was reported in the 200 block of North 28th.

7:32 a.m. ? A verbal warning for a stop sign violation was issued at Fourth and Carpenter.

7:43 a.m. ? Suspicious activity was reported at Fifth and Adams, and police located the vehicle.

8:10 a.m. ? Timothy Chavez, 19, of Fairfield, was arrested at Jefferson County Jail on a warrant from Fairfield Police Department for operating while intoxicated-first offense (serious misdemeanor).

9:37 a.m. ? A verbal warning was issued for a traffic violation at Highway 34 Exit 212 Eastbound. A vehicle plate number showed suspended and barred owners. The driver was valid.

9:54 a.m. ? A traffic accident occurred in the 200 block of East Burlington.

10:21 a.m. ? Police saw the Maharishi University of Management fence on West Merrill had been hit by a vehicle. The incident had not been reported. An individual connected with M.U.M. was taking photos of the scene. The individual told police he was going to notify campus authorities.

10:34 a.m. ? Police investigated destruction/damage/vandalism of property in the 400 block of West Hempstead.

11:23 a.m. ? A citizen reported a controlled substance.

1:17 p.m. ? A verbal warning for failure to display registration was issued in the 400 block of West Fillmore.

3:14 p.m. ? Suspicious activity was reported in the 300 block of East Briggs.

4:32 p.m. ? Police investigated a theft reported in the 3000 block of West Burlington.

5:02 p.m. ? Police kept the peace in the 200 block of North 28th.

5:08 p.m. ? Harassment was reported in the 1300 block of Liberty Drive. A request was made for officer assistance and trespass information.

8:34 p.m. ? A vehicle was stopped at Dogwood and Liberty. A verbal warning was issued for no brake lights. The driver, David Earl Murray, 41, of Hedrick, was cited for operating a non-registered vehicle and failure to prove security against liability (non-accident related).

8:45 p.m. ? A utilities hazard was reported in the 1000 block of North Eighth.

9:36 p.m. ? Police checked on a possibly disabled vehicle at 12th and Jefferson. The car was stopped because the occupants were looking for their phones.
