Seventh grade girls end season with sweep over Ottumwa

The Fairfield seventh grade girls? basketball team concluded their season with an ?A?-?B?-?C? team sweep of Ottumwa.

The ?A? teamers defeated the ?dogs 42-10 with Maddy Greiner leading the way with 16 points, five rebounds and two steals.

Coty Engle also had double digit points with 12 to go with her six boards and three steals. Other stat lines were: Macy Rayburn six points, eight rebounds, two steals and three blocks; Ashlyn Lisk four points, nine rebounds and one steal; Kiara Bickman two points, eight rebounds and two steals; Brooke Miller two points, four rebounds and three steals; Emersyn Manley 10 rebounds and Morgan Amendt one rebound.

The ?B? team was also dominant, defeating Ottumwa 22-2 with Kiara Bickman, Dejanae Early, Keshauna Ross, Myah Twohill, and Morgan Amendt each scoring four points.

Bickman and Early also each had four boards and a steal, Ross had three boards and three steals, Twohill had three steals and Amendt had two boards and two steals. Emily German had the other two points and four rebounds and four steals. Sydney Wells and Sara Kretz rounded out the stat sheet with two rebounds each.

Even though they only played one half, the Fairfield ?C? team bested the Ottumwa Bulldogs 3-0 with Keshaunna Ross scoring two points while grabbing nine boards and three steals.

Emma Phillips had the other point, and Stephanie Hook had one board. Dejanae Early had four rebounds and two steals and Kate Pettit had two boards and one steal. Sara Kretz grabbed the last two boards.
