To the editor:
I?m reading the recent list of outstanding seniors [in the All-GTNS Senior Class special section], and I noticed a very interesting point.
Of the 34 students, 30 of the parents had the same name, two were different, one had none listed and one was a single parent.
With that, it would seem that a stable family, which is the basic unit of civilization, should be given great support.
It has been said that the breakdown of the family unit is responsible for over 90 percent of the problems in the world today. How often the obvious goes unnoticed.
