Two of the local manufacturers that participated in the day were Agri-Industrial Plastics in Fairfield, and Hillphoenix in Keosauqua. Students were able to see a lot of the different occupations and hear first hand what it is like to work in a manufacturing environment. Students met with panels of employees at each company, and learned about their history, company mission and opportunities for future employment. The students learned about two different manufacturing processes and the different products produced by each company. Students toured Hillphoenix in the morning and Agri-Industrial Plastics in the afternoon.
