Registered nurses Marty Chandler, left, and Sara Coffin demonstrate CPR skills to students at the annual Super Sitter class sponsored by the Jefferson County Health Center Auxiliary. Seventeen students attended the Super Sitter Course April 21 at the Jefferson County Health Center.
Chandler and Coffin, health and wellness coordinators at JCHC, taught the group baby-sitting, first aid, and CPR skills. They also presented fire safety tips. The students were given a first-aid manual, a lanyard and backpack.
Each student was tested and presented a certificate for completing the course. The JCHC Auxiliary sponsored the class, with Susan Muntz as the coordinator and Kathy Horn assisting.
