UPDATE: Thursday afternoon after The Fairfield Ledger had been printed, Elizabeth Eland announced the Cystic Fibrosis Fundraiser Golf Tournament in Honor of Timothy Nelson has been canceled due to rain and golf course conditions. Now, instead of a golf tournament, a corn hole/bags tournament is planned beginning at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Riverview Club in Keosauqua. Those who planned to golf are not committed to participating in the corn hole tournament. Two person-teams that would like to participate should contact Eland or Lori Nelson as soon as possible. The silent auction and Goehring BBQ are still planned.
