Coloring contest

Pence Elementry School third-grader Madilyn Cox, holds her winning color page in the local RAGBRAI coloring contest. Madilyn’s artwork earned her a free Geared for Weird T-shirt, and her artwork will be entered in the statewide contest sponsored by RAGBRAI, with a grand prize of $350 for the overall winner. In Fairfield, there were over 500 entries from local students ranging from kindergarten through fourth grade at the two elementary buildings, Washington and Pence.
