Seder meal reservations due
First United Methodist Church will have a Seder meal 6-8 p.m. Thursday.
This is a Passover meal where the story of the Exodus is shared in a fun way so children and those less familiar can learn it. It is like dinner theatre, including a full meal of lamb, chicken, potatoes, fruit, dried fruit, nuts, roasted eggs, fruit salad, matzah bread, grape juice, bitter herbs and greens.
Reservations must be made by calling the First United Methodist Church office at 472-4303 or by signing up during worship Sunday at the church.
A freewill offering will be collected for the meal.
Holy Week services set
Annual Community Holy Week services and lunches will be Monday through April 19.
Services are at 12:05 p.m. , with lunches at 12:30 p.m.; those who have to return to work or have other commitments go first.
Donations for lunch will benefit Fairfield Ministerial Association and Cornerstone Community Well.

Monday -- First Presbyterian; Tuesday -- First Lutheran; Wednesday -- First United Methodist; Thursday -- St. Mary Catholic; and Friday -- Fairfield Friends.
