Nolte, Cornman & Johnson PC has released an audit report on the Fairfield Community School District in Fairfield.
The district’s revenues totaled $25,084,270 for the year ended June 30, 2018, a 0.78 percent decrease from the prior year. Revenues included $10,150,891 in property tax, $119,464 in income surtax, $1,524,883 in statewide sales, services and use tax, charges for service of $1,494,824, operating grants, contributions and restricted interest of $2,414,372, capital grants, contributions and restricted interest of $179,845, unrestricted state grants of $8,846,375, unrestricted interest of $123,242 and other general revenues of $230,374.
Expenses for district operations for year ended June 30, 2018, totaled $23,807,976, a 0.24 percent increase from the prior year. Expenses included $7,367,399 for regular instruction, $3,862,041 for special instruction and $2,204,219 for other instruction.
