The Fairfield Fire Department reports the following:

Oct. 23

EMS responded to one call: chest pain.

Oct. 24

EMS responded to two calls: fall; breathing problem.

Oct. 25

4:31 p.m. — Firefighters extinguished a structure fire at 404 W. Adams Ave.

4:35 p.m. — An automatic alarm sounded at 406 E. Madison Ave. The response was canceled.

EMS responded to one call: psychiatric issue.

Oct. 26

6:40 p.m. — Firefighters responded to a brush fire at 1010 North B St. The firefighters found it was a large controlled burn. The organizers had not informed the fire department or the Jefferson County Law Center dispatch desk about the planned burn.

EMS responded to five calls: stomach pain; broken leg; fall; seizure; standby.

Oct. 27

9:14 p.m. — Firefighters responded to an accident at 185th Street and Kelp Avenue.

11:15 p.m. — Firefighters provided lift assistance at Libertyville Road and Juniper Avenue.

EMS responded to four calls: numbness; psychiatric issue; car accident; car accident.

Oct. 28

EMS responded to three calls: cut; stomach issue; standby.

Oct. 29

7:55 a.m. — Firefighters responded to an accident at 1794 Brookville Road. The response was canceled.

EMS responded to one call: person down.

Oct. 30

5:13 a.m. — Firefighters responded to a report of possible carbon monoxide at 1000 Oakwood Drive. The investigation found nothing more than 1 ppm.

Oct. 31

10:10 p.m. — The fire department was called to investigate smoke at Court Street and Hempstead Avenue. Nothing was found.

EMS responded to three calls: stroke; fall; suicide attempt.

Nov. 1

12:47 p.m. — Firefighters provided lift assistance at 607 W. Broadway Ave.

EMS responded to one call: seizure.

Nov. 2

EMS responded to one call: unresponsive.

Nov. 4

12:45 p.m. — Firefighters were called to investigate a gas smell at 200 North Main St. Nothing was found.

EMS responded to one call: fall.

Nov. 5

EMS responded to three calls: seizure; fall; shortness of breath.
