The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:

Wednesday

3:29 a.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 700 block of South 32nd.

7:02 a.m. — A controlled substance was reported in the 1600 block of West Burlington.

7:04 a.m. — Terry Harnish was arrested in the 800 block of West Taylor on a warrant for failure to appear.

7:32 a.m. — Phone harassment was reported in the 600 block of West Van Buren.

7:56 a.m. — A road closing was reported on Hemlock Avenue between 130th and 140th.

8:21 a.m. — Police investigated destruction/damage/vandalism of property in the 3000 block of West Grimes.

8:22 a.m. — A parking complaint was made in the 2300 block of Walton Lake Drive.

8:30 a.m. — An animal concern was reported in the 400 block of South B.

9:33 a.m. — Police investigated theft in the 3000 block of West Madison.

10:19 a.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 300 block of South 17th.

10:21 a.m. — Police assisted the Ottumwa Police Department.

11:06 a.m. — Police assisted a motorist in the 500 block of West Burlington.

11:31 a.m. — A parking complaint was reported at Fifth and Adams.

1:24 p.m. — A traffic acident was reported in the 500 block of West Burlington.

1:57 p.m. — Assist and service was requested in the 400 block of East Burlington.

2:39 p.m. — Police investigated burglary/breaking and entering in the 400 block of West Adams.

4:45 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued at Sixth and Monroe for a stop sign violation at Seventh and Jefferson.

4:57 p.m. — A welfare check was requested on the Fairfield square. A woman was riding along with three children on a moped.

5:19 p.m. — Harassment was reported on West Washington.

5:57 p.m. — An accident was reported in the 2000 block of South Main. A subject picked up a self-report form.

6:50 p.m. — A parking concern was reported in the 1100 block of West Adams Court.

6:55 p.m. — Police were asked to check on the welfare of a person in the 1000 block of South Sixth.

8:34 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued at Third and Monroe for failure to stop at a stop sign.

9:33 p.m. — A domestic disturbance was reported in the 800 block of South Third.

11:36 p.m. — Police investigated destruction /damage/vandalism of property in the 600 block of West Burlington.
