The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:

Saturday

10:14 a.m. — Harassment was reported in the 800 block of West Adams.

11:31 a.m. — Fairfield and Mt. Pleasant police spoke about a missing person-other.

1:10 p.m. — A juvenile issue was reported in the 400 block of South 15th.

1:14 p.m. — Police investigated theft-shoplifting in the 2700 block of West Burlington. At 1:22 p.m., Julia Maxine Winter, 21, of Moraga, California, was arrested and charged with fifth-degree theft.

3:37 p.m. — A miscellaneous complaint and service call was received.

6:06 p.m. — Fraud was reported in the 500 block of North Fourth.

6:26 p.m. — Assault was reported in the 3000 block of West Madison.

6:43 p.m. — Police assisted the fire department in the 400 block of West Briggs.

7:08 p.m. — Domestic disturbance was reported in the 300 block of South 17th.

7:54 p.m. — A K-9 search was requested on Highway 34 at the on-ramp at milemarker 212.

8:10 p.m. — A civil dispute was reported in the 400 block of West Briggs.

9:08 p.m. — Public fighting was reported in the 200 block of North Main.

10:52 p.m. — A K-9 search was requested in the 1800 block of Highway 1.

11:53 p.m. — Phone harassment was reported in the 300 block of South 17th.

Sunday

1:07 a.m. — Police checked Chautauqua Park after park hours.

5:59 a.m. — Disturbing the peace was reported in the 200 block of North C.

6:23 a.m. — Psychiatric behavior was reported in the 800 block of South Fifth.

7:02 a.m. — A parking issue was reported in the 600 block of North Third.

8:42 a.m. — An animal issue was reported in the 2100 block of Libertyville Road. A small brown female mixed breed dog was taken to the Veterinary Clinic PC.

9:27 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued in the 700 block of East Burlington for no plates. The driver had all the paperwork.

9:39 a.m. — Police investigated burglary/breaking and entering in the 300 block of East Briggs.

9:55 a.m. — A municipal infractions citation was issued in the 1000 block of West Burlington to Clinton J. Mercer, 28, for expired plates.

10:24 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued at C and Kirkwood for using the turn lane to pass a vehicle.

10:28 a.m. — Police provided warrant service in the 300 block of North C.

10:31 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued adjacent to Reservoir No. 2 for a seat belt violation.

10:57 a.m. — A municipal infractions citation was issued in the 50 block of West Burlington to Terrance D. Taft, 26, for expired plates.

11:10 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued at Second and Burlington for speeding.

11:13 a.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 100 block of North 16th. It was a civil issue.

12:07 p.m. — Trespassing was reported in the 400 block of West Briggs.

1:24 p.m. — An arrest on a warrant was made at Jefferson County Law Center.

1:35 p.m. — Police investigated theft-shoplifting in the 1300 block of West Burlington. At 1:57 p.m., Albert Lewis Lane, 74, of Fairfield, was arrested and charged with fifth-degree theft and interference with official acts.

3:55 p.m. — Police were requested to check on the welfare of a person in the 1300 block of West Jackson.

5:09 p.m. — An animal concern was reported in the 800 block of North 10th.

6:15 p.m. — Harassment was reported in the 300 block of North C.

7:22 p.m. — A utilities hazard was reported in the 50 block of South Fifth.

7:33 p.m. — A utilities hazard was reported in Fairfield.

8:49 p.m. — A K-9 search was requested at Third and Hempstead.

9:20 p.m. — Extra patrol was requested in the 300 block of South 17th.

Monday

1:27 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued at Main and Wilson for a traffic violation.

1:55 a.m. — Police checked Chautauqua Park after park hours.

2:28 a.m. — Larceny theft was reported in the 2000 block of South Main.

5:13 a.m. — Police assisted a motorist in the 200 block of West Broadway.

8:07 a.m. — An arrest was made on a warrant.

9:46 a.m. — Police investigated offenses in the 2000 block of South Main.

9:46 a.m. — Police investigated theft from a motor vehicle in the 600 block of East Broadway. At 10:10 a.m., a subject was arrested and charged with two charges of third-degree burglary (unoccupied motor vehicle).

10:54 a.m. — Police assisted a motorist on South Main.

3:51 p.m. — Derek Lankford was arrested in the 700 block of West Grimes for driving while barred.

3:56 p.m. — A civil dispute was reported in the 1000 block of North 12th.

4:21 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued at D and Burlington for a traffic violation.

4:37 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued at 11th and Burlington for a traffic violation.

4:46 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued at D and Kirkwood for a traffic violation.

5:25 p.m. — A juvenile issue was reported in the 1000 block of South Sixth.

5:33 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued at Eighth and Depot for a traffic violation.

7:01 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued at Court and Grimes for a broken taillight.

7:01 p.m. — Police assisted the Wapello County Sheriff’s Office.

7:38 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued at Main and Southgate for a traffic violation. The vehicle was stopped for no plates, but the plates were in the rear window and difficult to see. The driver was advised to attach the plates to the vehicle.

7:42 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 1000 block of Oakwood Boulevard.

8:13 p.m. — A parking issued was reported in the 2000 block of South Main.

10:32 p.m. — A municipal infractions citation was issued in the 50 block of South Fourth.

11:42 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued at Main and Jefferson. The registered owner’s driver’s license was suspended, but the driver was not the registered owner.

11:51 p.m. — A verbal warning was issued at B and Burlington for no third brakelight.
