The Fairfield Police Department reports the following logged at Dispatch:

Tuesday

7:12 a.m. — Extra patrol was requested in the 500 block of East Buchanan.

8:08 a.m. — Police assisted a motorist at D and Broadway.

9:14 a.m. — A road closure was reported at B and Monroe.

9:46 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued at F and Kirkwood for a traffic violation.

9:59 a.m. — A verbal warning was issued at Walton Lake Road and Walton Lake Drive for a traffic violation.

10:49 a.m. — Stolen property was recovered in the 2200 block of Middle Glasgow Road.

11:35 a.m. — Police investigated offenses in the 200 block of South 28th.

12:24 p.m. — Police investigated destruction/damage/vandalism of property in the 100 block of South Third.

1:21 p.m. — A lost and found item was reported between the 1200 block of West Burlington and the 100 block of East Burlington.

1:59 p.m. — Police assisted a motorist in the 2000 block of South Main.

2:19 p.m. — A hit-and-run was reported in the 400 block of North F.

4:01 p.m. — Police were requested to check on the welfare of a person in the 500 block of East Fillmore.

4:33 p.m. — Suspicious activity was reported in the 500 block of North Second.

4:49 p.m. — Disturbing the peace was reported southeast of the Jefferson County Fairgrounds.

5:03 p.m. — Assault was reported in the 1300 block of West Jackson.

6:03 p.m. — Harassment was reported in the 300 block of North C.

6:57 p.m. — Theft was reported in the 500 block of North Second. A gas drive-off was reported.

7:22 p.m. — Police investigated assault in the 600 block of East Broadway. A juvenile was arrested and released for simple assault.

7:55 p.m. — A traffic accident was reported in the 2000 block of South Main.

9:36 p.m. — Assist and service was requested in the 50 block of North Court.

10 p.m. — Fairfield and Washington police departments spoke about a missing person-runaway.
