The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reports the following:
9:12 p.m. — A 2005 white Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Haley Marie Villont, 22, of Holladay, Utah, struck a deer while eastbound on Highway 34 just east of Umber Avenue. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $2,000, and it was driven away.
9 p.m. — Dwayne Ralph Lermineau, 48, of Davenport, in a 2008 red Chevy Silverado, swerved left to miss a deer in the roadway while traveling east in the 2100 block of 110th Street. The vehicle struck an old loading pier structure on the north side of the road in the ditch. Damage was estimated at $10,000 to the pickup, and a private tow was arranged. The report states the driver was uninjured.
