Cars routinely park very close to the west exit of Everybody’s Whole Foods. It’s very difficult to see oncoming traffic.
Management does not seem interested in a no-parking yellow curb. A manager raised the following objections to a no-parking zone near the west exit: parking at Everybody’s is at a premium; that the problem exists only on weekends (not true as patrons know); that safety is the responsibility of the driver exiting onto the highway; and drivers should be careful and ease out to a place where they can see past an adjacent parked car.
It seems Everybody’s won’t improve safety at their west exit. Possibly the city could paint a long yellow line because the store won’t.
