The Pekin softball team improved their record to an even 10-10 with a 9-3 road win at Highland Tuesday night.

The Panthers smacked three straight homers against the Huskies in the sixth inning when senior Ellie Ledger and sophomores Emi Zook and Erika Coleman went back-to-back-to-back.

“We have been hitting the ball well,” said coach Atwood. “We just have not been hitting the gaps but we did that tonight. Ellie hit the gaps twice and then had a home run. Three consecutive home runs, that was pretty sweet to see.”
