FHS has drawn a road trip to Mt. Pleasant May 23.

The Trojan boys’ soccer team controls its own conference destiny in the Southeast Conference with one game remaining at Washington, Thursday at 4:30 p.m.

FHS was separated from the rest of the SEC, which joined Cedar Rapids Xavier and Iowa City Liberty in Substate-5, and has drawn Oskaloosa Monday in the first round of Class 2A action. The No. 6 seeded Trojans will face the No. 3 seeded Indians with first touch scheduled for 7 p.m. The winner of the contest will travel to play No. 2 seeded Pella on Wednesday May 22 in the substate semi’s before the final is played May 25 at Ahrens Park Soccer Complex, home of the top-seeded Grinnell-BGM hybrid team from four Central Iowa towns that border Interstate 80.
