Kiki Guo of Washington and Michal Wholleber of Mt. Pleasant were co-Medalist with a score of 42 to lead all golfers with Fairfield’s Megan Higgins scoring a 51 as the top Trojan.

“Really a good night for Megan coming back off a career low at Kalona,” said head coach Joe Kruzich. “What we are looking for is consistency rather than up and down rounds and we are starting to see that from her in multiple parts of the game.”

Ella Phillips and Lindy Kaska shot 58 and 59, respectively, and “This was the first competition where either of these two have been able to shoot below 60,” explained Kruzich. “They were elated and I was very happy for them. It’s when the girls start to see the reward for the work that they put in that makes everything worthwhile.”
